Nevada’s Senate Bill 318 (SB318) and the federal guidance on Title VI both agree that language should not be a barrier to accessing governmental programs and services. NEVADA STATE ARCHIVES EXHIBIT SHOWCASES NEVADA DIVISION OF FORESTRY’S WORK ON WILDFIRE AND NATURAL RESOURCES MANAGEMENT
To kick off American Archives Month, the Nevada State Archives unveiled an exhibit highlighting the Nevada Division of Forestry’s (NDF) essential role in protecting and managing Nevada’s lands. The exhibit will be open to the public from October 1 to December 31 at the Nevada State Archives in Carson City.
Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest and Nevada Division of Forestry Create Combined Wildland Fire Crew to Confront the Wildfire Crisis
A new agreement between the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest and the Nevada Division of Forestry will enhance safe and effective wildfire response across Nevada. The centerpiece of this partnership is the creation of the joint Arc Dome Wildland Fire Module that is focused on planning, monitoring, and responding to wildfires.
Nevada Division of Forestry to provide over $300,000 in grants to volunteer/rural fire departments for critical equipment and training
Approximately $330,000 in federal funding is now available for rural/volunteer fire departments serving small communities.
