The Nevada Division of Forestry seeks a qualified and experienced wildland fire management professional to fill the position of Forestry Program Manager - Fire. The positions is one of seven program managers that partner to implement the agency's mission, which is to protect and enhance communities and ecosystems through natural resource stewardship and wildfire management.

It has been seven years since the state of Nevada signed a historic Shared Stewardship Agreement, committing state and federal land management agencies to a common goal: Do the right work in the right places and at the right scale, to mitigate wildfire risks and enhance landscape resilience across Nevada.

The Nevada Division of Forestry (NDF) invites the public to the spring opening of the Washoe Conservation Nursery on Thursday, April 30 through May 2. Doors open at 9:30 AM on Eastlake Blvd.

Registration is now open for Fire Adapted Nevada Summit. The Summit brings together communities, experts and agencies dedicated to advancing wildfire resilience in the Silver State.
