Sustainable Wildfire Prevention Technique Deployed in Reno
The Nevada Division of Forestry (NDF) has partnered with the Reno Fire Department and NV Energy to reduce the risk of wildfire in the lower Rosewood Canyon of Reno through targeted goat grazing.
Governor Sisolak Tours Tamarack Fire Burn Scar
Governor Steve Sisolak and other state officials toured the Tamarack Fire burn scar Wednesday morning to see the restoration work that's underway. The governor was joined by Nevada State Forester Kacey KC and Nevada Department of Wildlife (NDOW) Habitat Division Administrator Alan Jenne.
