Aviation Services for Natural Resources

NDF helicopter flying over Lake Tahoe.

Nevada Division of Forestry (NDF) utilizes two Huey helicopters and an Eagle Conversion helicopter and the associated Helitack staff to assist in the implementation of natural resource management projects. NDF’s aviation assets and staff are based at the Minden-Tahoe Airport, where they are readily available to respond to the natural resource management project needs.
