Fire Adapted Nevada Partnership

How to Join

FAN relies on neighborhood leaders, supported by program staff and local fire protection district personnel. These leaders organize a FAN Club, by inviting and educating their neighbors on wildfire risks, defensible space, ember awareness and other topics. FAN Club Leaders organize the community and are the cornerstone of the FAN Partnership.

When the community is organized as a FAN Club, the FAN Partnership assists them in creating defensible space, planning wildfire evacuations, applying for Firewise USA recognition, and preparing for wildfire at the neighborhood and community level.
