How to Join
Fire Adapted Nevada is a partnership that relies on resident leaders working with state, and local fire protection agencies to mitigate wildfire risk in their communities. Partner activities include taking a hard look at preparedness and planning actions to harden the community from wildfire. Resident leaders may participate by organizing community events that bring attention to defensible space, ember awareness, and education materials available through the Living with Fire program. The Fire Adapted Nevada program will help resident leaders with Defensible Space projects, emergency preparedness and Firewise USA national recognition.
