Public Workshop on Nevada Administrative Code Chapters

Date
April 05 2023

NDF is seeking your input.  As required by Governor Lombardo’s Executive Order 2023-003, NDF is undertaking a comprehensive review of the regulations (Nevada Administrative Code) subject to its operations and enforcement.  As required, NDF will be providing a report to the Governor’s office by May 1, 2023 “detailing how those regulations can be streamlined, clarified, or otherwise improved to ensure they provide for the general welfare of the State without unnecessarily inhibiting economic growth.”  The report will provide recommendations for amendments and “a list of not less than ten (10) regulations recommended for removal, ranking them in descending order of priority”.

To gather public comments and recommendations on existing regulations, a Public Workshop has been scheduled for April 5th, 2023 (see attached notice and agenda). Attendance is available in-person, telephonically, and written comments can be submitted before April 5th, 2023 to NDF.

If you choose to provide input, please identify the regulation(s) for consideration, by NAC number if possible. Also, please detail how the regulation subject to its enforcement can be streamlined, clarified, reduced or otherwise improved to ensure those regulations provide for the general welfare of the State without unnecessarily inhibiting economic growth.  NDF will review submitted suggestions and do our best to address them through the NRS 233B process for amending regulations as approved by the Executive Branch.

Thank you for your attention to this important effort.
