Elko Plant Sale Announced for October 14 & 15.

The Nevada Division of Forestry, in partnership with the Northeastern Nevada Stewardship Group (NNSG) will hold the 2022 Elko Fall Plant Sale. Landowners living outside of incorporated city limits can purchase locally adapted, affordable trees, shrubs, and forbs at the Nevada Division of Forestry Northern Region Headquarters on October 14-15. Quantities are limited and orders will be filled on a first-come, first served basis.

Eligibility:

  • This plant sale is open to residents of Spring Creek, Osino, Ryndon, Tuscarora, Jarbidge, Jackpot, Owyhee, and Lamoille. If your land is within the city limits of Elko, Carlin, Wells, or West Wendover, you are not eligible.
  • Buyers must attest to purchasing plants with the intent of conserving and enhancing Nevada's natural resources on their lands, through conservation plantings such as: Windbreaks, shelterbelts, woodlots, erosion control, willife habitat, pollinator gardens, Christmas tree farms, streambank stabilization, greenstripping, mine reclamation, reforestation, xeriscaping, etc.

How to order:

  • Download and fill out an order form from our website. Click here for the pdf version and here for an Excel version.
  • Mail or drop off your order form and payment at the Nevada Division of Forestry Northern Region Headquarters, located at 911 Falcon Lane, Elko, NV 89801
  • Checks are payable to Northeastern Nevada Stewardship Group.
  • Order forms and payment must be received no later than Thursday, October 6th, by end of business, to ensure timely processing. Late or improperly sent payments will not be accepted.

Order Pickup, at the Nevada Division of Forestry Northern Region Headquarters:

  • Friday, October 14 - 8:00 am to 1:00 pm
  • Saturday, October 15 - 8:00 am to 10:00 am
