Division of Forestry Awards Highest Accolade to Kacey KC, Recognizing Exemplary Service.

On Friday, February 20, the Nevada Division of Forestry awarded its highest recognition – The Stewardship Excellence Award -- to State Forester Firewarden Kacey KC, in acknowledgement of her exemplary service and profound achievements that revolutionized and enhanced the agency’s operational scale and efficiency.  This was also the final day of her 23-year career with the agency. KC leaves NDF to become the new Oregon State Forester and Director of the Oregon Department of Forestry

Nevada Department of Conservation and Natural Resources Announces State Forester Leadership Transition

The Nevada Department of Conservation and Natural Resources announced the departure of Kacey KC, State Forester Firewarden of the Nevada Division of Forestry (NDF). KC, who has served NDF since 2002, will be leaving Nevada to head the Oregon Department of Forestry.
