Exit Eastlake Boulevard from U.S. Highway 395 at the North end of Washoe Valley. The nursery is approximate 1 mile from highway on the right hand side.
The Washoe State Tree Nursery supplies plant materials adapted to the Great Basin and Sierra Nevada and provides custom-growing services.
The nursery is open to the public mid-May through mid-October
Open Thursday through Saturday
8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The nursery closes to the public for the winter at 3:00pm Saturday, October 10th
Qualifications for the purchase of plants
The program is not intended to provide landscaping materials. The purpose of the program is to provide locally adapted, affordable trees and shrubs to conserve and enhance Nevada’s natural resources through conservation plantings such as:

Plant List Not every species is available in every size. Please call the nursery for species and size availability.

Note: Payment must be by cash, check, or purchase order. We do not accept credit cards. 1 gallon, 2 gallon and 5 gallon nursery stock is occasionally available in limited quantities and species. Larger plants may be purchased one at a time. Help us conserve resources as well as hold nursery prices down by returning your empty growing containers to the nursery. Please leave the containers inside gate if nursery is closed. |
