The Nevada Network of Fire Adapted Communities holds an annual conference for members, cooperators, supporters, and the public during March. The conference typically includes and educational program, networking opportunities, business meeting, advisory board meeting and other events. Please read below for information on current and past concferences.

 

 

This is a flyer announcing registration for the Nevada Network of Fire Adapted Communities 4th Annual Conference is now open! The conference is March 12, 2018. You are invited to attend this year’s Nevada Network of Fire Adapted Communities Annual Conference. Registration is FREE and includes conference materials, continental breakfast, refreshments, and lunch! This year, learn about the lessons from California’s 2017 fire season, how to create and update a Community Wildfire Protection Plan, information on obtaining assistance for your community, and the status of the Nevada Network of Fire Adapted Communities. 3rd Annual Conference – March 27th, 2017 – Reno, Nevada

The 2017 conference was held on March 27 at the Atlantis Resort Spa Casino in Reno, Nevada. There were 105 people in attendance, and they heard from a variety of presenters about wildfire evacuation and preparation.View of download a summary report, which includes results from the post-conference evaluations and answers to the many questions that arose during the small group exercise.  See the report here.
