May is Wildfire Awareness Month in Nevada, a time when community members, fire and emergency services, and business cooperators join forces to raise public awareness of wildfires and promote actions that reduce the risks from wildfire to homes and communities. One of NDF’s cooperators, the Living with Fire program, helps organize many events throughout the month of May.
